US Blacklists Anthropic 

The relationship between Silicon Valley and the White House hit a breaking point this week as the government blacklisted Anthropic. This shift toward national security priorities is redefining who controls the most powerful technology in the country.
 

• Donald Trump ordered federal agencies to dump all software from Anthropic after they refused to grant the military total access to its systems.

• Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth labeled the company a supply chain risk because they wouldn't drop their safety guardrails.

• Anthropic leaders refused to cooperate because they worried their models could be switched into tools for mass surveillance or robot weapons.

• The Department of War threatened to invoke the Defense Production Act to seize control of the technology before officially blacklisting the company from government work.

• Federal agencies now have exactly six months to phase out all tools from Anthropic and transition their sensitive data to other providers.

Magic Eden Burns the NFT Bridge

• Magic Eden confirmed it will stop all trading for Bitcoin and Ethereum NFTs by March 9 after months of low volume.
