Some historic music collectibles have found their way onto the blockchain as Julian Lennon offers the late John Lennon and Beatles memorabilia in his debut NFT collection.

We’re seeing some truly iconic NFTs coming to the blockchain while the music industry is gearing up for the 2022 Grammys season. 6 NFTs representing iconic Beatles collectibles including handwritten lyrics to Hey Jude, John Lennon’s Magical Mystery Tour Afghan Coat, Lennon’s Black Cape from “Help!”, and 3 guitars have been tokenized as NFTs on the Ethereum blockchain. Each item represents key moments from the Beatles historic career, and for the first time are being offered to collectors as digital collectibles.

If you did a double take when looking at the name in the title, well, a Grand Master’s blockchain debut will do that. 

The family of the late Pablo Picasso are ushering in the Grand Master’s work to the blockchain with another first, the unveiling of a never before seen ceramic work. The newly teased piece, created in October 1958, will ultimately find its home in a physical collection via a future Sotheby’s auction. Leading up to that historic moment, the Picassos will launch multiple NFTs, starting with a new 1,000-piece NFT collection on Nifty Gateway titled Visage de Lumière featuring the ceramic. This is just the start for the Picasso family as more music, physical art, and NFTs are in store for hungry collectors.

The Visage de Lumière collection will be available at Nifty Gateway on 1/28.

The hit Tezos blockchain marketplace, OneOf, has been rolling out the major NFT drops on such a cadence that it’s hard to be shocked by a major new drop, but here we are.
